Shrimp and Tasso Pasta

"This recipe is one in all my own family's all-time favorites! You may also replacement crawfish for the shrimp and it turns out just as scrumptious. The tasso gives the sauce its high-quality smoky taste. You can substitute smoked ham for the tasso however the smoky taste won't be as severe."
