Slow Cooker Swiss Steak

"I threw this together in my crock pot someday and we loved it! A little time eating because I sauteed the veggies and browned the meat first, however it's well really worth it. Browning the meat first gives it a better flavor. This is exceptional with mashed potatoes!"

Ingredients :

  • 1/four cup all-purpose flour
  • salt and pepper to flavor
  • 1 half kilos spherical steak, cut into small portions
  • three tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 carrots, shredded
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar, or to taste

Instructions :

  • In a shallow bowl, blend the flour, salt, and pepper. Lightly coat the spherical steak portions in the flour aggregate.
  • Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat, and saute the celery, onion, and carrots about 5 mins, until soft. Remove from warmness, and set apart. Mix within the round steak portions, and cook dinner until lightly browned.
  • Place the greens and steak in a gradual cooker. Mix inside the tomatoes with juice, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar.
  • Cover, and cook eight to 10 hours on Low, till the round steak could be very gentle.
