Rava Laddu

"This is a popular Indian dessert recipe that I got from my Indian coworker's wife. It is VERY sweet, so in case you do not like overly sweet cakes, you may want to modify the semolina/sugar ratio for that reason."

Ingredients :

• 6 cups semolina flour
• 7 cups white sugar
• 1 half tablespoons floor cardamom
• half of cup ghee (clarified butter)
• 1/three cup cashew nuts
• 1 cup warm milk

Instructions :

Prep : 10M	Cook : 16M	Ready in : 30M

• Heat a massive dry skillet over medium to medium-high heat. Add the semolina, and toast, stirring constantly. Stir inside the sugar and cardamom at the same time as toasting till mild brown and aromatic, about 10 minutes.
• Heat a small quantity of the ghee in a separate skillet over medium heat. Add the cashews, and cook dinner until lightly toasted, about 10 minutes. Add the cashews to the semolina at the side of the final ghee. Gradually stir warm milk into the semolina until it is thick sufficient to percent into a ball. Remove from warmness, and form palm-sized balls. Let cool and serve.
